"If we're not able to address the twisted shit we all do, will any of us ever find salvation? I, for one, know myself very well, sir. I know my short-comings and these will never be held against me because I embrace mine."

A first generation immigrant from Zimbabwe, race relations and colonialism are a common theme in LARRY BUXXX's music. These are often embedded within an industrial approach to lyricism, focused around a capitalist dialogue as a nod to the relationship between capitalism and colonialism- two concepts which go hand in hand.

"We commit atrocities for material gain, as our colonial masters did."

"I'm really about my business. I'm fairly happy to be a mixtape
rapper because I'm a big man with a whole fucking enterprise to run- I put things out when I want to and I keep it moving. Because that's the tempo I've set there really isn't any pressure on me to force writing a song because some twat at a record label's got to hit his quota- Everything is organic.
Sometimes I need to take time out of documenting the way I see the world to focus on actually seeing it."
